Our Annual Pesto Fiesto celebrates everyone’s favorite summer condiment - Pesto! As always, we challenge
you to create your own unique pesto recipe to submit in our pesto contest. We’ll be making several varieties of pesto, and we’ll have expert judges with impeccable taste on hand to sample all of the pestos submitted. The best pesto creator wins a year’s worth of free basil! Remember, pesto doesn’t have to mean basil… You can download the July print newsletter on our website for some suggested variations on the classic pesto. *Bring your best pesto with you and don’t forget to write down the recipe!
This event is free to the public.

Join Nadine and Anne at the farm for a lively conversation about how to prepare the vegetables we grow!
We’ll be grilling a variety of summer vegetables and serving up some tasty beverages. Bring your own favorite seasonal dish prepared with Blooming Hill Farm vegetables, and share in the conversation about how best to savor the season. This event is limited to 20 people! Stop by the farm Saturday or Sunday to purchase plants for your home garden.
We are currently offering a wide selection of herbs (three kinds of basil), seed potatoes, maximillian sunflowers, arugula, lettuce, broccoli, onions, tomatillios, peppers, and over two dozen different heirloom tomatoes. Stop by early for the best selection. Offerings will vary daily.
